Robert G. Parkinson

Rob has decades of experience helping clients manage their wealth. He has helped clients from the early phases of their financial journey to their passing, leaving a legacy to their family, charities, and communities. Rob enjoys the bond of trust that develops by working with people and providing direction to their financial affairs. Rob often says he has the best clients in the world.

Before founding Cordingley & Parkinson Wealth Management, Rob was Vice President of Finance and Investments at a regional bank where he managed the banks investment portfolio. He also served on various administrative committees. Initially at the bank, he worked in the trust department, specializing in estate planning and qualified retirement plans. Rob began his career in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked for a wealth management company serving a national clientele. He has extensive experience in estate planning, tax planning, retirement planning, asset allocation, investment analysis and business planning.

Rob has earned a Master of Taxation degree from Georgia State University. He did his undergraduate studies at The Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University where he graduated summa cum laude. He has also earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. Rob has been an adjunct faculty member at a local university, teaching advanced courses in finance and investments.

Rob promotes organ donation by speaking at events and by telling his story. He received a life-saving liver transplant in January of 2010 from a neighbor whose recently widowed wife designated Rob as the recipient of her husband’s liver. Rob lives in gratitude for each “bonus” day. Rob once asked a transplant coordinator how you repay a gift of life. She said, “You live every day giving it forward”. Rob strives to “pay it forward” by performing acts of kindness. Rob and his wife, Tracey, are also involved in improving child literacy. Rob and Tracey are the parents of seven children. They enjoy road bikes, mountains, boating, skiing, reading, and time with family and friends.

W. Kay Cordingley

Wealth Management Advisor

Before founding Cordingley & Parkinson Wealth Management, Kay was a Senior vice-president at a regional bank. While at the bank, Kay headed the Financial Services Division which included the Trust Department, the Insurance Department, and the Escrow Department. He was also a member of many administrative committees including the trust committee, the investment committee, the employee benefits committee, the asset/liability committee, and the executive committee. Because of his experience, he has a keen understanding of economic cycles, investment vehicles, retirement plans, and business management. In total, Kay has over forty years of banking and investment experience. He has helped hundreds of clients with tax planning, retirement planning, investment planning, and trust and estate planning.

Kay graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. He also graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

Kay enjoys the mountains. A favorite day would include a four-wheeling trip to the mountains. Kay also enjoys sports, golfing.

Brett Cordingley

Brett is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and delivering exceptional experiences for clients. With a deep-rooted passion for finance and a commitment to client satisfaction, Brett strives to ensure that every interaction is tailored to meet the needs and goals of clients.

With experience in the financial services industry, Brett brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. His expertise spans a wide range of areas including investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, and wealth preservation strategies. He understands that each client has their own financial journey and is ready to provide support along the way.

In addition to Brett’s role in client relations, he is also responsible for overseeing the firm’s marketing initiatives. From developing engaging content to leveraging innovative digital strategies, Brett is dedicated to raising awareness of the firm’s services and delivering insights.

Outside of the office, Brett is passionate about giving back to the community. Whether through volunteering or supporting local charitable organizations, he believes in the importance of making a positive impact wherever possible.

Keaton Parkinson

Wealth Management Advisor

Keaton Parkinson is financial advisor with a robust foundation in tax advisory, data analytics, and financial planning. Prior to joining Cordingley & Parkinson, Keaton worked as a Quantitative Tax Consultant at Ernst & Young (EY), where he consulted some of the world’s largest companies on how to navigate complex, data-intensive tax challenges.

Keaton earned his bachelor’s degree in financial economics with a minor in data science from Brigham Young University – Idaho. During his undergrad, he served as President of the Investment Society, where he led a collaborative project between the Investment Society and the Data Science Society. Through this experience, he discovered that combining financial and data skills allowed him to tackle financial problems in ways he couldn’t have otherwise. This realization inspired him to earn a master’s degree in computer science with a specialization in data science at Rice University. He is passionate about integrating data-driven insights into the financial planning process to deliver solutions that best serve his clients' interests.

Outside of work, Keaton enjoys golfing, hiking, and embracing an active outdoor lifestyle. Above all, he finds joy in spending time with his family.

Raegan Orme

Client Services Representative

Raegan Orme is a dedicated professional with over 20 years of office experience. She has been with Cordingley and Parkinson Wealth Management since 2016 as a Client Services Representative. Raegan has honed her skills through hands-on experience, becoming adept at managing office operations, organizing procedures, and providing excellent customer service.

Rexburg has been Raegan’s home for over 35 years. Living in Southeastern Idaho for most of her life, she has enjoyed getting to know many members of the community.

Raegan’s dedication to her work is matched by her commitment to her home and family. She loves time spent traveling with her husband to visit her children and grandchildren.

Holly Miller

Compliance Officer

Holly Miller, a proud Southeast Idaho native, brings a blend of experience and dedication to her roles as a client service representative and compliance officer. Graduating with top honors from Bonneville High School in 1994, she embarked on a journey of academic excellence at Ricks College, where she not only pursued her education but also found her lifelong partner, Kurt. Continuing her quest for knowledge, she earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the esteemed University of Utah in 1997.

With experience in small business management and healthcare finance, Holly joined Cordingley & Parkinson Wealth Management in 2020, swiftly becoming an integral part of our team. Her unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive services to clients, coupled with her meticulous attention to compliance regulations, ensures the highest standards of professionalism.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Holly finds true fulfillment in her role as a mother to five wonderful children. Embracing the joys of parenthood, she also carves out time to indulge in her passion for sports, often found cheering on teams at various sporting events. Recently, she has embraced the world of pickleball, finding both challenge and camaraderie on the court. Holly embodies the perfect balance of dedication to her career and devotion to her family and passions, making her an invaluable asset to both our team and our community.
