Rob promotes organ donation by speaking at events and by telling his story. He received a life-saving liver transplant in January of 2010 from a neighbor whose recently widowed wife designated Rob as the recipient of her husband’s liver. Rob lives in gratitude for each “bonus” day. Rob once asked a transplant coordinator how you repay a gift of life. She said, “You live every day giving it forward”. Rob strives to “pay it forward” by performing acts of kindness. Rob and his wife, Tracey, are also involved in improving child literacy. Rob and Tracey are the parents of seven children. They enjoy road bikes, mountains, boating, skiing, reading, and time with family and friends.
